Educational Visits

We have found throughout the years that, most of the time, all it takes for people to get over phobias of reptiles is knowledge and exposure. We firmly believe that it is essential to expose children to the wonders of nature and educational visits about reptiles are a way that we can help. We try to nurture the wonder that children naturally have toward other living creatures by teaching them about reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates while they are able to touch and hold them.

How it works!

We have tons of personal and store pets that love attention and love getting to go out to birthdays and schools. We also have hundreds of animals at our store that you can inquire about as well. We usually bring 10-20 animals depending on how much time we have. The animals we bring can be held and passed around and some can even stay out during the entire visit. We will also talk about things that are unique to each animal and some of the different types of animals! Here are some of the animals that we usually bring!

Cost

• School visits are done at half the cost of our normal parties.
• This covers some of the costs of maintaining and feeding healthy animals to take on visits.
• Visits start at $60 for about 60 minutes.
• After the first 60 minutes all additional time is half price, that's only $15 per 30 minutes.
• Additional fees may apply for long distances.
